The second phase of voting for the local body elections is underway. Voting is underway in 12,391 wards across 604 local bodies in Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts.Voting will continue till 6 pm. Counting of votes will be done the next day.
There are a total of 1 crore 53 lakh 37,176 voters. This includes 80.90 lakh women voters and 72.46 lakh men voters.
