As part of the nationwide Apki Poonji, Apka Adhikar campaign for the revocation of unclaimed deposits, a District-Level Camp will be organised by Canara Bank, the Lead Bank for the district, at Malabar Residency, Kannur, on 29 December 2025.
The camp, being conducted in coordination with various banks in the district, will feature awareness sessions on identifying and claiming unclaimed deposits, assistance counters to address public queries, and facilitation of claims. On-the-spot verification and support by bank representatives will also be provided, along with the display of information material and guidance brochures.
Through this initiative, the banks aim to reach a maximum number of customers and beneficiaries, resolve pending claims, refund unclaimed deposits to their rightful owners, and strengthen customer relations.

The Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, has launched a nationwide campaign titled “Apki Poonji, Apka Adhikar” (Your Money, Your Right) to facilitate the settlement and refund of unclaimed deposits and financial assets to their rightful owners or claimants.
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), SEBI, IRDAI, and PFRDA, with active participation from banks and financial institutions across the country.
