India beat England by 100 runs to win the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup final at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on Friday, claiming a record-extending sixth U19 World Cup crown.

India won the toss and elected to bat first, but England struck early as Alex Green dismissed semi-final centurion Aaron George to claim the first breakthrough. However, by the time the second wicket fell, India had firmly taken control of the contest. Led by the explosive Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, India went on a scoring spree as the England bowlers struggled for answers.
