Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala registered a huge win against Goa in the C.K. Naidu Trophy for under-23 players. Kerala defeated Goa by 243 runs. Chasing a target of 364 runs, Goa were all out for 120 runs. Kailash B. Nair was the star bowler for Kerala with five wickets. This is Kerala’s third consecutive win in the tournament. Kerala had defeated Jammu and Kashmir and Meghalaya in the previous matches.

Goa, who started the last day at 63 for three, suffered a setback right from the start. Goa’s collapse began when Shantanu Newagi, who had scored 25, was caught LBW by A. Jishnu.
