Ahmedabad: Kerala registered a convincing win over Jammu and Kashmir in the Reliance All India Under-19 Championship. Kerala won by an innings and 215 runs. Jammu and Kashmir, which had conceded a lead of 352 runs in the first innings, were all out for 137 runs in the second innings. Amay Manoj, who scored a century for Kerala, was named Player of the Match.
Kashmir, who won the toss and elected to bat, were all out for 118 runs in the first innings. For Kerala, Leroy Joaquin took four wickets, Ishan Kunal and Thomas Mathew took two wickets each. In reply, Kerala declared their innings at 470 for five wickets. Amay Manoj scored 100 runs not out for Kerala. Captain Hrishikesh scored 90, Manav Krishna 83, Imran Ashraf 71 and Sangeet Sagar 54 runs. Then, in the second innings, Kashmir, who came out to bat, were all out for 137 runs. For Kerala, Ishan Kunal took four wickets and Thomas Mathew took two wickets in the second innings.
