Key activities include cleanliness drives in offices, corridors and canteens; review and weeding out of physical records; removal of redundant materials; and identification and disposal of e-waste in accordance with applicable guidelines.
The Ministry, its two CPSUs — Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) and Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) and three Autonomous Institutes — National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE) and Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Bio-Energy (SSS-NIBE) — are participating actively in the Campaign.
Launched by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the campaign aims to institutionalise Swachhata and minimise pendency in Government offices. The Implementation Phase commenced on 2nd October, 2026, and will continue until 31st October, 2026.
